Can and HOA for condominiums remove courtyard fencing that served as the only protective barrier between pedestrians in the courtyard and the parking lot. It is clear the fence had been placed between the courtyard and the parking lot as a protective barrier. They removed all of the courtyard fencing throughout the condominiums with less than 48 hours notice, and no homeowner feedback. I wrote a letter expressing concern and asked for an opportunity to work with the HOA to find a safer solution. They removed the fence the very next day. They stated in their notice that they left the fencing facing the street to protect vehicles and parking lots from the street. There is less than two feet between the courtyard and moving vehicles with zero protection. They have no plans to replace the fences and there is little not even as much as a curve between vehicles parking directly toward the courtyard.
